Prom wasn’t too shabby for Jacob Staudenmaier!
The high-school teen had gone viral after his extravagant La La Land themed promposal to Emma Stone. And once the A-list actress got wind of the video, she responded. Unfortunately, due to a busy schedule, Emma had to decline the offer. However, she managed to make up for her absence when sending Jacob and his lucky date a corsage and boutonniere with a handwritten letter!
While on Good Morning America, Jacob explained how he was still looking forward to prom despite his plans changing. “I’m going to have a great time with all of my friends,” he explains.
JACOB! Thanks for making the greatest proposal I’ve ever received. I can’t tell you what an honor that was and how much I smiled through that entire beautifully orchestrated video. I’m in London working but I hope you have the best time at prom, and I’m grateful you thought of me. THANK YOU!
