Congratulations on your new single, “Time Machine”! Can you tell us a bit about the inspiration behind this track and how it came together??

Thank you, I’m super excited to finally release it. Been playing this one for over a year now. After doing a bit more deep music I wanted to produce something more high energy so I I can play it at prime time.

You’ve been in the industry for a decade now, and your music has graced many renowned labels and stages. How do you feel your sound has evolved over the years, and what can listeners expect from “Time Machine”?

I feel it was always changing but always was about the groove. First percussion tribal then it evolved into more swingy and strip down grooves. That’s how Activator was born which I released on Hot Creations. This track basically created my style which I continued to do with Concentrate, Passion and more. I think with latest releases like Heartbeat and Turn The Lights I started use more melodies but the groove was always strong. Time Machine is very acid influenced peak time track with low bass and crazy build up. Amandas vocal fitted perfectly there.

“Time Machine” is a collaboration with Amanda Haze, with whom you previously worked on “Bass Face” in 2020. What was it like collaborating with her again, and how did your creative process unfold this time around??

Me and Amanda have a very similar vision regarding vocals and music in general. So after Bass Face did so good and was picked up very quick by Green Velvet we decided we need to do more.

Your music has garnered support from a diverse range of artists, from Maya Jane Coles to Jamie Jones. How does it feel to have such widespread recognition and appreciation from the underground scene?

I’m very happy and thankful for that. Seeing your track being played all over the world and getting tagged on videos sometimes from people you don’t even know with someone playing your track always amazing, I’m glad my music is recognizable.

You’ve mentioned that your sound design and style are consistently motivated by the changing face of house music. Could you share some insights into how you’re pushing boundaries and exploring new sonic territories with your music?

I’m a big hardware guy, I like to buy drum machines and synths and I think each instrument bring something new to my music.

In addition to your music career, you recently founded your own label, Passion. What motivated you to start your own imprint, and what are your goals for the label moving forward?

It’s not yet lunched but its coming later this year and I’m very excited about this. The main reason I want to do it I want to have my own imprint for music I love!

Your sound is often described as capturing the essence of Miami, New York, and Ibiza, the cities you’ve called home. How do these locations influence your music, and how do you incorporate their unique vibes into your productions??

NYC tribal house was a big influence, so going to clubs like Pacha NYC, Cielo and Brooklyn warehouses shaped my sound a lot and was a big inspiration to get into production seriously and start developing my sound.

Ibiza is responsible for shaping my own sound and producing on a minimum equipment. I did Activator in 4 hours after coming back home from Paradise closing.

The Miami vibe is very different and is more chill and the rhythm of life is way slower than NYC so for some time I noticed I’ve been doing more relaxed and melodic music. But i also produced a lot of my usual style track as well as a developing a new direction which i want to release in near future.

As an artist, what do you hope listeners will take away from “Time Machine” and your music in general?

Time Machine is very club dance track so I hope people who gunna hear it in a club will have a good time. In general in music I’m trying stick to the concept that less is more but its not easy and sometimes you start overcomplicating basic things.

With the world slowly returning to live events and festivals, how excited are you to play “Time Machine” in your sets? Can you share any upcoming gigs or performances where we can experience the track live??

I’m super excited to play Arc Festival in Chicago, I’m playing 2 days at elrow stage, you will definitely hear Time Machine there and a lot of new unreleased music.

Finally, for fans who are eager to explore more of your music, where can they find your previous releases and mixes? Do you have any recommendations or personal favorites from your discography that they should check out??

Check out one of my first tracks Into it, it was a first track I’ve got big support from Macro Carola. And also check my full set from Floyd Miami, that was a crazy night!

    Thanks for having me.
