The second Semi-Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 took place last night (16 May 2019) and what a fierce competition it was. A total of 18 acts represented their countries on stage, but only 10 could go through.

This had to have been the toughest Semi-Final, ever. Every act brought it, to the extent where it felt like it was the Grand Final. We want to congratulate North Macedonia who returns to the Grand Final after six years of not qualifying, as well as Switzerland who also breaks a streak of four years of not qualifying.

Tune in on Saturday when you’ll see all the qualifiers from each Semi-Final, the host country, and the big five, compete to win the Eurovision Song Contest 2019. Do we have a winner amongst these newly qualified acts? Why don’t you vote on our poll for your favourites.
