By now, we are sure you have all heard about the destruction and total devastation that Hurricanes Harvey and Irma have caused. Whole cities and homes full of irreplaceable life-long memories have been ripped apart and precious lives have been lost but while the victims of these tragedies are mourning, the rest of the world is coming together to show their support.
From the moment the storms hit, people have pulled together to show the affected that they are not alone. Whether they have said a prayer for those who are suffering, given a donation or travelled to the badly hit areas to help out with clean-ups, the world has well and truly shown that it cares and that love will always prevail.
That is how the idea of, “Hand In Hand,” came about. The live telethon is aimed at giving support to those who have lost so much in Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma over the last couple of weeks.
