Fast rising 17-year-old teen pop sensation Ethan Sak is ready to take the world by storm with the release of his brand new single ‘Make My Heart Go’.
Growing up, Sak attended a “Fame” esque performing arts school program that counts the Muscle Schoals Sound Studio as one of its many partners. Music has always been a huge part of his life and he began writing musical notes before he even learned the alphabet.
Now, with the release of his latest track, Ethan Sak who signed his first publishing deal aged 14, is ready to take his career onto the next level.
Here we speak exclusively to Ethan to discuss his new music:
What inspired your new single?
Make My Heart Go all came from this really cool beat that I came up with, and I guess I was feeling kinda lovey-dovey, cause the lyrics just flowed out.
What was the writing process like for this track?
This time it started with a beat, but most of the time it just starts with a chord progression and a melody. Once I’ve found the melody, I put the lyrics to it.
What are you hoping fans take from the song?
I hope everyone who listens just enjoys themselves when they hear this song. It’s meant to make people happy.
With Make My Heart Go what was the main story you were looking to tell through the lyrics?
I was writing from the perspective of someone who was caught off guard from falling in love, and he’s trying to reason everything to himself. She wants to be with him in return, but he finds himself in disbelief.
What are you hoping to achieve with this single release?
We’re hopefully going to have some radio success to help prepare for music coming out later spring.
Can fans expect an album or EP from you this year?
Fans can expect an EP coming out this April/May called ‘Yellow’.
Do you have any plans to release a music video for this track?
We will be recording the music video for Make My Heart Go during March, and it should be ready for release sometime before the album comes out.
