EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: AMiR Talks About His New Single “All Or Nothing”

It’s been a couple of weeks since AMiR dropped the awesomely catchy track “All Or Nothing“. It came with five amazing remixes and the song has been gaining in popularity.

The song is truly unforgettable and is one we were more than happy to write up about. It has managed to gain over 2,000 streams on Spotify since it’s release on 22 September 2017.

AMiR is certainly building up his career. His releases to date really showcase him as an artist, and we’re excited for what the future will bring for him.

Lucky for us, AMiR found some time to answer our interview questions. He chats to us about his recently released single “All Or Nothing“, his previous single “Drench Me With Your Lust” – which has over 79,000 streams on Spotify, making it his most-streamed track – and what he hopes the future has in store for him and his fans.

Hi AMiR, how are you today? What have you been up to lately?

I’m ok. Just in and out of the studio writing and recording music, all the time.

For our readers who haven’t listened to your songs yet, can you describe your music?

Generally, my songs are a personal experience with music you can dance to. Rnb and funk influenced Pop.

Can you tell us more about your recently released single “All Or Nothing”?

“All or Nothing” is basically about a night out and you catch a girl’s eye, get to know each other, having a few drinks, and the rest is history!

You have also released many remixes of the song, how did that come about?

We wanted to have a version geared to fill as many musical gaps really. Dark mood, house, garage, and dance. Something for everyone.

Which remix is your favourite and why?

I love them all but my favourite is the Marc Baigent and Element garage remix. I grew up with garage music.

The song follows up “Drench Me With Your Lust”, can you tell us more about that song?

I wrote “Drench Me With Your Lust” in Shepherd’s Bush with Peter and Daniel of the Cutfather production team and when I landed on the melody that was the first line I came up with. After that, the lyrics flowed out of me.

It’s your most streamed track to date, how does that feel? And what has the reaction to the song been like?

Yes, feels really good. I hope everyone is enjoying it. The reaction has been really great and positive.

What can we expect from you next?

More and more music. I’m writing all the time and I sing every day so you can expect more music and live gigs fairly soon.

What do you hope the future has in store for you?

More writing, recording, and touring; it’s the perfect life and that’s what I hope the future holds for me.

What inspires you the most and why?

Things that impact me or someone I care about, my own experiences, and just partying.

What five songs are you currently obsessed with?

Rudimental – Sun Comes Up (feat. James Arthur)
French Montana – Unforgettable (feat. Swae Lee)
J Hus – Did You See
Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds – Everybody’s On The Run
Liam Gallagher – Wall Of Glass.

Have you got a message to your supporters?

Yes, thank you all for your support. Love you all very much and I hope to shower you with more music. Cheers!

Thank you so much, AMiR, for taking the time out to answer our questions. We are fully loving “All Or Nothing” and cannot wait to see what you have in store for us next. We have no doubt that we’ll love your next songs.
