Rising star Dylan Diamond is a pop star from America. The teen sensation is currently working in the studio with renowned music producer Poo Bear who has worked with a number of big name artists including the likes of Justin Bieber, Big Sean, and Usher. And Diamond has recently released his brand new single ‘Video Games’.
Here we speak exclusively to Dylan Diamond about his new single, working with Poo Bear, future plans and much, much more;
You started making music aged just 9, how much would you say your style has changed since then?
I think I have always stayed positive with my music, but I am more geared toward doing songs about every day life now versus the educational stuff I sang about when I began.
Do you see yourself continuing to make music in the future?
Of course, it is a huge passion of mine. It allows to be creative and talk about things that I like.
Who are your musical icons?
Ed Sheeren is a big influence of mine, and I love the Gorillaz… Shawn Wasabi is also a producing genius and I love his work.
You’re currently working with Poo Bear, what’s that been like so far?
Yes! I love Poo Bear, he’s been around since the beginning.
Can fans expect more music from you soon?
I am definitely expanding my diversity in the styles of songs I’m doing. I have some really cool collabs coming with some really great people. Stay tuned!
