Issie Swickle, former Annie actress, has just released her newest single titled “ME,YOU.” As an upcoming singer and influencer in the music industry, Swickle is already committed to a successful career at a young age. Her established fanbase has been supporting her for over a year now and are eager to hear what’s in store for the singer next. In an exclusive interview with CelebMix, Swickle opened up about “ME,YOU,” fan support and more.
How did you first get started with music?
I first got started with music when my mom saw me standing in front of my TV singing to Hannah Montana. I was just singing all the time. She put me into a performance arts program and I’ve been doing it ever since.
What can you tell us about your new single & music video “ME, YOU” and the inspiration/meaning behind it?
My new single “ME, YOU” is really about a girl realizing that’s she’s done playing games, and figuring out what she really deserves. It’s also about wanting to be happier and my inspiration is [that] I really want my song to be an anthem to girls out there who can relate.
What was it like for you to see the response of your debut single “Mirrors” be so positive and supportive?
It was so amazing to see all the people and fans who supported my single “Mirror!” The song means a lot to me, and I connect with it very deeply. It was so incredible and heartwarming to see the amazing results and happiness it brought to not only myself but to others.
Speaking of support, you have a dedicated fan base already! What do you love most about them?
I love that my fan base is so supportive and are really sweet and great people. I love how they re-post my stuff. It’s really great!

If you could collaborate with any artist or producer in the upcoming months, who would it be and why?
If I could pick one person it would be Lady Gaga or Ariana Grande because they both are so talented and inspirational! It would be a dream to maybe collaborate with them one day!

For people who have just discovered my music, I would like for them to know that I hope they always get inspired when they hear my music, and that they always enjoy listening to it, and my music always comes from the heart!
