Pink Angels is the latest girlband on the block, ready to take on the world.
The fierce foursome are already household names back in their native Czech Republic. Now, Tereza, Angee, Nikki and Natalie are ready to unleash their catchy music and impressive dance moves on the UK.
The girlband recently released their new single ‘Slay Mama‘, and are currently touring the UK alongside Union J, Sam Bailey and JAGMAC on the ‘Breaking Acts’ tour.
We caught up with the girls to ask them about their inspirations, being on the road and what the future has in store for Pink Angels.
Can you tell us a bit about how Pink Angels was formed?
7 years ago there was a competition where we had to sing, dance and act, [that’s when Pink Angels was formed].
How would you describe your sound, for anyone who hasn’t heard your music yet?
I think our music is pop with a little bit of drops in it. It’s also very catchy!
What one word would you use to describe each member?
Nikki: Funny
Natalie: Responsible
Angee: Crazy
Tereza: Loud
Your new single ‘Slay Mama’ is our new favourite girl power anthem. Is it important for you that your music carries an empowering message?
It’s not [always] necessary. Sometimes you just want to dance and forget about everything! But it was important to have a single with some kind of message behind it.

As well as singing, you often put your European and World dance championship titles to good use with some slick choreography. Who are your inspirations, in terms of both music and dance?
I think we inspire each other. But when it comes to music our inspirations are Selena Gomez, Zara Larsson and Justin Bieber.
You’ve previously toured with Little Mix, Union J and Rita Ora. What’s the best and worst things about being on the road?
Worst thing is probably missing someone…family, friends, dogs haha but it’s still our favourite thing to do. And the best thing is travelling and performing with best friends!
You’re back in the UK at the moment, currently performing on the Breaking Acts tour. What do you love the most about the UK?
The people..! They are more open than Czech people. They are really kind and we just love their mentality.

What has been your career highlight so far?
The big festivals such as Big Gig, Sundown or AllStars summer, but trust me the best highlights are coming!
Considering your young age, how do you cope with the pressures of the music industry and ensure that you stay grounded?
It’s very important that we have each other! It’s so much easier when you have your friends around you.
Aside from your music, we also love your fashion sense. Who are your style icons?
Nikki: Selena Gomez
Angee: Emily Ratajkowski
Tereza: Zendaya
Natalie: Taylor Swift
What’s your most played song at the moment?
All of us love the song ‘In The Name Of Love’ by Martin Garrix!
What’s next for Pink Angels?
We will have our reality show in the US. It’s called ‘Pinks Across America’! We’re so excited about that!
