The star recently added singing professionally to her already diverse repertoire after releasing her debut single “Treat Myself” along with its accompanying music video. As a result, Rockelle is now catching the eye of not only people on social platforms, but those on music streaming platforms as well. In an exclusive interview with CelebMix, she opened up about her new single, performing and more.
What can you tell us about your debut single “Treat Myself” and its message?
The song is all about self-care. I work a lot and sometimes it’s important to just take a moment and be good to myself. Everyone should treat themselves!
What was it like to film its music video?
It was so much fun because I got to hang out and work with my friends and I also got to feel so glamorous.
Who are your musical influences?
Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande are definitely two of my influences.
You have countless followers across streaming and social platforms, especially TikTok! How much do you appreciate the support and what do you love most about your fans?
I love the support of my fans because these always get me through any rough times. They are really the most amazing people. I appreciate so much how they care about me and each other.
Is there anyone who you would like to collaborate with in the future?
I would like to collaborate with Emma Chamberlain because I love her personality.
What are your goals for 2020 as an artist?
I want to come out with new songs. I recently performed two shows in New Jersey and Chicago and after doing those shows I’m very excited about touring a lot more in 2020.
