In just a few days time, a whole host of your favourite YouTubers will be heading to Birmingham’s Genting Arena for the very first HelloWorld Live. From Zoella to Tyler Oakley, Jim Chapman to Rose and Rosie, the list is absolutely enormous and we couldn’t be more excited.
Promising to be an out of this world event, HelloWorld will see attendees walking down Main Street where they’ll be treated to games, live music, baking, books, signings, and everything in between. Who knows where your favourite YouTuber might pop up? There’ll also be a huge party in the Emoji House to finish the day in style. Sounds perfect, right?
If you need a little more convincing, we recently spoke to our favourite funny guy Oli White for the lowdown on what we can expect from HelloWorld, and a little exclusive as to what he’ll be doing on the day.
First off, how excited are you for HelloWorld Live?
I’M SOOOOOOOOOOO excited!
HelloWorld has been described as “an immersive live show like nothing on Earth”, but how would you describe it in your own words?
It’s going to be like a trip to Universal Studios (or Disneyland) but with all your favourite things about the internet in one place. What’s not to love about that!?
Can you tell us a little about what you’ll personally be doing on the day?

We’ve got so many amazing surprises planned, but what I can confirm is that…
I’m going to be hosting my own YouTuber game show called ‘Oli White’s Very Slimey YouTuber Game Show’ live on the main stage. See what we did there?
And… We’re also going to be getting up to all kinds of chaos with the audience with a live ‘Who Would Win’. But that’s all I can say for now – exciting right?! But that’s all I can say right now!

You recently got involved in the backstage planning by visiting the Genting Arena with Caspar Lee. What did it feel like trying to visualise bringing the event to life?
The venue is huge! It made me feel nervous imagining loads of people being there. We looked at some creative plans of where things are going to go and it just looked amazing. Everyone involved and behind the scenes has done an incredible job in making HelloWorld happen.
The day will be a YouTuber extravaganza – who are you most looking forward to catching up with?
I can’t wait to see everyone! I love events like this because it just brings the YouTube community together – creators and viewers in one place. I can’t wait for Saturday to arrive!
Are there any YouTubers that you’ll be meeting for the first time?
I think I’ve met pretty much everyone that’s attending.
You’re no stranger to events such as conventions which allow you to meet your loyal viewers. How important is it for you to be able to give back to your fans?
It’s my number one priority giving back to the viewers. They do so much for me and they have made me the person I am today. I owe them everything. Thank you guys!
