New York City’s powehouse vocalist and songstress Chloe Lowery releases the music video for her newest song “Dirty Disco” today (Friday, August 16). Even if you don’t recognize Chloe Lowery’s name, we are pretty sure that there is a very good chance, you are familiar with her angelic voice.
“I’m a razor on the dance floor, even sharper when I speak”, are the lyrics from the provocative club track which showcases Chloe’s versatility as a performer, dancer, songwriter, and vocalist. “Dirty Disco” is a vibrant and upbeat departure from the previous songs off her debut album, The In-Between, which was released earlier this year.

Filmed at The Bar at 316 in Charlotte, NC by Digital Spark Studios, Chloe enlisted the help of local drag queens Lilli Frost, Veronica White, and Tia Douglas to bring the party anthem to life. “Dirty Disco” encompasses the idea of “living your best life”. In the groovy “Dirty Disco,” Chloe builds a narrative that offers a personal look at her metamorphosis:
“Being a New Yorker now for most of my life, I have been heavily influenced by the drama and culture of this city. To fully capture what makes this song special, I teamed up with Digital Sparks Studios to create a colorful and explorative world that depicts a night out on the town featuring members of the LGBTQ community. The video represents love, acceptance, community, good times, and a whole lotta sass.”

Hailing from Florida, Chloe first felt the urge to perform in early childhood. She began voice lessons at the age of seven, and was soon singing and dancing at public events with a local performance troupe. She was just twelve when she signed her first recording deal, with RCA Records. Her prodigious talents have made her a go-to voice for a wide variety of high-profile acts, allowing her to perform in front of large crowds in some of the world’s most prestigious venues. Chloe’s commanding, exquisitely powerful voice is equally at home singing classical or classic rock.

“In some respects, I’m just starting out, but I’ve accumulated a massive amount of experience. I’m thankful for having the opportunity to perform so many different kinds of music, because that’s helped me to understand what kind of music I want to make on my own. My own music is pop, but it’s sophisticated and personal. I really care about making an emotional connection, and I feel like that’s what I have to offer as an artist.”
Earlier this year, Chloe Lowery released her long-awaited debut solo album, The In-Between. The album was based on deep personal concepts. The emotionally infused album was born from a journey of self-discovery following an emotional heartbreak and it captures her emotions of grief, self-discovery, and ultimate acceptance. From the debut single “Renegade” to the vibrant track “Crazy” (featuring guitar legend Al Pitrelli) to the cinematic duet “Giving Up On You” featuring Nathan James (Inglorious, Trans-Siberian Orchestra), Chloe builds a narrative that offers a personal look at her metamorphosis. The most powerful and personal of the tracks, “Don’t Let Yourself Down,” took shape from words that Chloe’s mother said to her in one of her saddest moments. The song serves as a catalyst for the rest of the album and has a universal meaning far beyond the initial intention.
Chloe has been the featured vocalist for recording and touring phenomenon Trans-Siberian Orchestra since 2010 and has toured extensively and performed on Broadway with international sensation Rocktopia. She has also recorded and toured with beloved keyboardist/composer Yanni on his landmark Yanni Voices album and tour, performed with renowned jazz trumpeter Chris Botti, has been a soloist with the New York City Ballet, collaborated with noted hard-rock guitarist Joel Hoekstra, and even stepped into Janis Joplin’s shoes to tour with her legendary band Big Brother and the Holding Company.
