Following the success of her new album ‘In The Light’, Toronto born artist Melissa Bel returns with a joy-filled music video for new single ‘Big Boys Don’t Cry’.
Speaking about her new track, Melissa says: it’s “the song that’s supposed to cheer you up after a breakup”. It is an upbeat slice of catchy pop that combiners Bel’s powerful soul vocals and uptempo jazzy beats to create a fun, impassioned single.
‘Big Boys Don’t Cry’ oozes 60s doo-wop alongside buoyant refrains and honey-sweet harmonies. It’s instantly contagious and uplifting. The video compliments the single perfectly, with Melissa Bel happily strolling around her adopted hometown of Exeter with her friends after kicking out her ex.
