Jean-Mikhael is a fast rising RnB artist who made his debut as the young Michael Jackson in the West End musical Thriller, and has since gone on to be featured in esteemed publications such as Teen Vogue.
And now the The BRIT school graduate has released his debut single titled ‘Deal’ and it showcases his empowering lyricism highlighting that Jean-Mikhael is both a talented singer/songwriter, and performer. The track is the first to be taken off his upcoming debut EP.
Speaking about the track Jean-Mikhael says: “My debut single, ‘Deal,’ is about everything that I am: real intimate, R’n’B songwriting and glossy pop production. How did it come about? A few years back – just after BRIT school in fact – I was in a group with Georgia from Blessed. Fast forwarding to now, we finally reunited to get a studio day in the diary and penned ‘Deal’ together (her and her sister are so talented, creative and fun. We were really able to put my words across in such a pure and easy way) alongside my longtime producer Akara Etteh, recording at the iconic Earthworks Studios in north London.”
