The clip of Conrad and Urban singing ‘We Were Us’ together launched the US rising artist into the limelight and has so far racked up in excess of 35,000 views;
Now, the rising star is ready to make a name for herself across the world with the release of her brand new single ‘Come To Your Senses’. The track has been written from personal experience and was produced by renowned producer Matt McVaney, who has also worked with Kane Brown and Jessie James Decker.
Speaking about the inspiration behind her new release, Kendal Conrad said: “The inspiration for “Come To Your Senses” comes from my frustrations with dating. There have been so many times where I’m out — singing somewhere, eating dinner, drinking a coffee, whatever — and I felt some kind of spark or connection with a guy across the room. It might be something small like a look, a smile in my direction, a gesture. But time goes by, he gets up to leave, I leave, and nothing ever happens. My solution to this sad situation? This song. Wake up, come talk to me! OF COURSE, I could have made the first move. But I want to be the girl that makes the guy get out of his chair. I hope people who listen to this song can take chances, make moves, and go for it. This song is about seeing potential and having the courage to act on it”.
