Natasha Jane Julian is an exciting rising talent who has recently released her sophomore EP ‘Happily Ever After’. The title track off the record is a moody electronic pop song which is all about the dark side of a relationship.
Along with the electronic pop sounds, the song also features jazz influences and it really showcases the musical depth that Natasha Jane Julian has to offer.
Speaking about the EP, Natasha says: “This EP, Happily Ever After, really was written in a period of hardship for me. But you fall, you get back up, you may discover you have a voice and then you have hope and determination to push for the things you want. And in the process, you are able to see and feel what others are going through in their times of trial and have compassion for them.”

Speaking about the clip, Julain says: “The video resembles two worlds in my reality. It’s the struggle between what once was, and what really is now in reality. In the beginning, I’m awoken by the light, that was my relationship, which used to be a good light, but it’s hurting me now. I’m stuck in this dark, depressing world essentially, but I keep keep having flash backs of the more beautiful world and what used to be. I’m in a trance of darkness and dance inside this house, but my mind is escaping into the happily world. But it keeps coming back to reality in the end, on the couch, where I’m begging the listener for understanding of such a beautiful, fallen romance and questioning it’s existence”.
