SARRA is an exciting Dallas based singer/songwriter who you may know as Sarah Sellers from American Idol. During her time on the talent contest she rose to immediate popularity and Steven Tyler was instantly infatuated with her voice and sent her straight through to the next round after her incredible audition of Bob Dylan’s worldwide hit ‘Make You Feel My Love’.
Now, known as SARRA the former Idol star is back with her brand new single ‘Kerosene’ which is lifted off her eagerly anticipated upcoming self-titled debut album which is due out later this year.
Speaking about the inspiration behind her latest single, SARRA says: “Till death do us part” is always a simple concept when you first fall in love and start planning your life together. Holding true to that when you’re deep in the trenches of a broken marriage I think defines who makes it out together or apart. When I wrote Kerosene I was grappling with that idea of, “I’ll love you forever” then when shit starts to go bad how quickly that love can turn to “I want to see you burn”.
