UK country music band Orfila are celebrating their five year anniversary with the release of a brand new EP ‘Built With A Dreamers Hand’ which will be dropping on December 8th. Speaking about the new record, the group consisting of siblings Matt, Lou and Abi, say: “The EP is definitely a reflection of where we are as a band at this moment in time. When we recorded our second album we felt that we had found our sound and we wanted to continue down this route for this EP. We all contributed to the writing process and we had a small band behind us who we had worked with before and who were friends of ours which made it such a fun, laid back experience. The three tracks are three of the strongest tracks we have ever written and we hope people enjoy listening to them as much as we enjoyed making them”.
And we here at Celeb Mix are able to bring you the world exclusive premiere of one of those tracks, their brand new single ‘Snow, Rain, Hurricane’. Speaking about the new release, Orfila say: “We wrote the song in a way that we have never written before; we were tasked to write it at a songwriting session a while back. The task was to write a song about a wedding and we just asked ourselves “what’s the worst thing that can happen at a wedding?”…and we went from there. It was just a bit of fun and it was never meant to be serious but we continued to work on it and really loved the song”.
