Exo member Lay has just released his first ever US studio album ‘NAMANANA.’
Hot off the release of the stand-alone track ‘Give Me A Chance’ which he released on his birthday and called it a ‘gift to his fans’ Lay has released his highly anticipated 3rd solo album lead by the single and music video for ‘NAMANANA.’
‘NAMANANA’ allowed Lay to explore himself as an independent and principle producer, having full creative freedom for the vision of his US debut as a solo artist. The 22-track album consists of Chinese and English songs, catering to such fanbases and leading the MPOP wave by expanding it to a global audience. The diversified album mixes with future bass, dance, urban and hiphop influences coming together to create one incredible album. Discussing his US debut Lay said:
“I am excited to finally be able to connect with global music fans in the U.S…I’ve put a lot of hard work into making this a sincere album and am passionate about sharing it with the U.S.”
Outside of EXO, Lay has been crafting a name for himself, becoming a staple figure in the KPOP, MPOP and has become the first Chinese artist to chart in the Top 10 on iTunes’ world charts. After the release of this masterpiece of a record, Lay is soon to solidify himself in the western industry.
