Another day, another Fan Story! Our featured guest this week is a lovely girl who goes by the name, Janelle Webb.
Janelle opened up about her privilege of meeting one of our favorite 1D band members, Louis Tomlinson – and if we can provide any indication on just how amazing it was for her, we highly encourage you to grab some Kleenex.
She briefly had mentioned about meeting Louis previous to the experience we are about to share, but felt that this one was by far a no brainer – completely taking the cake. (Trust us, it does!)
“As I was walking around Beverly Hills, I passed by a Williams-Sonoma where I saw someone who looked identical to Daniel (Louis’ bodyguard). Not too long after that, was when I saw Louis – so I went in and politely asked Daniel if there was any way I could get a photo with Louis. He said to wait just a few minutes, as he was busy checking out.”
Now, it’s definitely not your typical every day luck when you’re casually walking around Beverly Hills and happen to spot Louis Tomlinson – and if you do, you’re either surrounded by a bunch of fans or surrounded by paparazzi. Either way, it doesn’t always happen exactly how you’ve planned it in your head. But based on what Janelle shared with us, we feel that she was surely deserving of the intimate experience her and Louis had!
“After he was finished checking out, he walked right over to me so we could take a picture. We took our selfie and he asked me how I was doing. He was so polite and smelled AMAZING. But as he began to walk away, I thanked him for participating in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Of course he gave me a bit of a confused look, so I explained to him why it was so important to me – last summer, you and the boys all took the challenge and I wanted to let you know that I lost my mom this past year due to ALS. It really means so much to me that you took it.”
“This was the best part of my night”, she continued. “His face just dropped as he goes I am so sorry to hear that love! And after that, he gave me the biggest hug imaginable. I told him to have a great evening – to which he responded you as well love! I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience.” (Does she have you in tears yet?!)
Everyone who has ever been lucky enough to cross paths with Louis, has had nothing but exceptional things to say about him. He’s never arrogant or conceited, he’s never standoffish, and he’s ALWAYS down to earth. We don’t think his ego could sink the tiniest of ships if he tried; he’s just far too golden for this world – and it’s quite evidential that Janelle’s meeting proved simply that.
“When I’ve thanked other people in the past, all I’ve ever gotten was a yeah no problem. But he really cared and took into consideration how important it was to me. I honestly don’t think he could have been any sweeter.”
We were so delighted to converse with Janelle about her experience and to be able to highlight this special moment for her – undoubtedly one that will remain for the rest of her life. Not to mention, who doesn’t love a good chat about how incredible and selfless Louis really is?
