Last night was certainly a night for the books! With countless outstanding performances made by many of our favorite artists, we’re here to recap the calm before the storm; the red carpet.

Starting with our hostess for the night, Gigi Hadid looked gorgeous in her white off the shoulder Roberto Cavalli gown. The perfect combination of elegant and classy!
Jay Pharoah
As Gigi’s co-host parter in crime, Jay Pharoah took the red carpet in this rather dashing suit. If we’re honest, we would be absolutely cool with him hosting the AMA’s again!
Lady Gaga
Well this is certainly no meat dress but we are still loving it! Lady Gaga kept it simple while walking the carpet this year in a gorgeous white pantsuit and matching oversized hat.
The Chainsmokers
Okay… we must admit… the heart eyes we have for these two are REAL. Their patterned button ups really are the perfect completions to their slim and sleek suits. Huge congratulations on winning Favorite Electronic Dance Music Artist!
Fifth Harmony
Has there ever been a time where the Fifth Harmony ladies stepped onto a red carpet not looking flawless? We don’t think so either. It’s practically impossible!
Niall Horan
One Direction’s, Niall Horan stepped out on the AMA’s red carpet in this awesome charcoal checkered suit – along with his his fan favorite specs! As his first real solo artist appearance at an award show, we find it quite simple to say he killed it. Not to mention the beautiful performance he put on for This Town.
Shawn Mendes
A beautiful boy with an even more beautiful voice! Hard to believe he’s only 18, right? The amazing Shawn Mendes kept it classy with an all black/grey look. We’re also huge fans of him in leather jackets.
Selena Gomez
It’s safe to say that Selena Gomez wowed the crowd last night. From the minute she stepped onto the carpet in this beautiful red gown, to her acceptance speech for winning Favorite Pop/Rock Female Artist; Selena is easily the kind of woman we should all be looking up to. Congratulations on being who you are and for everything you’ve accomplished. We are so proud.
Karlie Kloss
Unfortunately, Taylor Swift did not attend the American Music Awards. But have no fear because her identical twin Karlie Kloss made up for it! Wearing a beautiful Atelier Versace gown, the supermodel undoubtedly left many speechless.

White seems to be the popular color for this year, eh? Ariana Grande strutted down the carpet with these awesome white pants and a simple, yet elegant, lacey top. Her ponytail however was definitely the signature of the night!

Who could pull off black leather pants better than music legend, Sting?! The answer is… nobody. Last night was definitely a good night for the icon as he received this year’s Merit award. Well earned, if we do say so ourselves.

Definitely one of our favorite looks of the night was the always beautiful, Nina Dobrev! How sick is this bedazzled jumpsuit? So much so that we wouldn’t mind having one for ourselves!
Zayn Malik
He may not have walked the red carpet but that doesn’t mean he wasn’t caught on camera inside! Zayn Malik wore a beautiful navy blue blazer, rolling his sleeves up just enough so his tattoos could could be of sight. We’re also digging all the ring action he has going on – perfect touch.
Keke Palmer
Keke Palmer brought some 90s fashion vibes back to the carpet last night and we are obsessed! The way she worked her all sparkly silver get up left us speechless. And don’t even get us started on that light pink fur coat… *heart eyes*
Rachel Platten
These mermaid vibes have us feeling some type of way! Rachel Platten walked down the carpet in this gorgeous and highly flattering blue sequenced dress that fits her exceptionally well. Is it just us or is blue totally her color?!
