DISCOVER: Faydee Collaborates With Romanian Singers Alina Eremia & Raluka For New Song “Enchanté”

Faydee has released a new single, this week, which is a collaboration with Alina Eremia & Raluka, titled “Enchanté”. With a tonne of new music released recently, this one easily stands out and will certainly get stuck in your head. The song follows up his acoustic single release of “Bang Bang” as well as his feature on SPYNE’s track “Stay”. It also follows up Alina Eremia’s feature on Dirty Nano’s single “Promite-Mi” as well as her solo single “De Sticla”, and Raluka’s feature on Amir’s single “Why Habibi?” as well as her solo track “Whole Body” – this is Raluka’s first single release of 2019.

Faydee, real name Fady Fatrouni, is an Australian singer-songwriter who is best known for his international 2014 hit “Habibi (I Need Your Love)” in collaboration with Shaggy, Mohombi, and Costi. He has been building up his career ever since with the release of his debut album in 2017, titled Never Saw Me Coming. He has released many singles and EPs, working with the likes of Kat DeLuna, DJ Sava, Claydee, and Hande Yener. His most-streamed track on Spotify is “Unbreakable” which features Miracle. He’s certainly someone who doesn’t give up and continues to drop new music and build fans.

As for Alina Eremia, she has been building up her singing career in Romania for a number of years and has gone on to become one of the most-known singer-songwriters in the country, with a number of chart hits to her name, her biggest being 2014’s “Cand luminile se sting” and 2015’s “A fost o nebunie” which both hit number two in Romania. She is more internationally known for representing Romania at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2005 where she came fifth with the song “Turai”. She has released songs with the likes of Vescan, What’s Up, Vunk, Mark Stam, DJ Sava, Monoir, and The Motans. She played the main character in the Romanian TV show Pariu cu viata, which was known as A Bet With Life in English countries, for all four series from 2011 to 2014 as well as the spin-off series O noua viata (known as A New Life in English). She later appeared as a contestant on the first season of Danseaza pintre stele (the Romanian version of Dancing With The Stars/Strictly Come Dancing), placing second. Next, she appeared on the seventh season of Te cunosc de undeva! (the Romanian version of Your Face Sounds Familiar) where she also came second, and also appeared as a juror on the Romanian children’s singing competition Next Star. Prior to her music and TV career, she worked with the Disney Channel on Romanian dubs for films including Pocahontas and Beauty and the Beast. She is currently signed to Global Records.

As for Raluka, real name Raluca Nistor, she had a successful music career when she started out, grabbing Romanian chart hits as a featured collaborator on DJ Sava’s tracks, which led to her releasing catchy solo tracks that also hit the charts hard. In recent years, she’s gained popularity on socials although chart numbers have dwindled. Last year saw her team-up with Ana Banici to become contestants on Asia Express, a new tough Romanian reality show, after sister duo Nicoleta and Iuliana Luciu withdrew. The show saw 18 celebrities (9 teams) compete with each other in a race across Asia with a travel budget of one dollar a day! Raluka and Ana Banici won the whole thing. Now, she’s clearly back working on her music and we’re excited to see what new amazing tracks she releases next.

This song, according to Spotify, has been written by Sebastian Barac, Marcel Botezan, John the Wickeed, Hanae Zerghani, and Sanae Zerghani. They also dropped a music video for the track on Faydee’s official YouTube Channel, where they state that Bogdan Daragiu acted as both the director and the director of photography, with Loops Production handling the production of the visual.

In a western world meets east, this song is something many artists have strived to achieve. It’s Asian pop mixed with Europop and it is undeniably catchy. This sort of music is what made Faydee become an overnight international success, and this proves that he has continued in this infectious sound and it really works for him. His collaborations are what will make him reach international stardom once again, and it’s great to see him collaborating with two known Romanian artists. Alina Eremia and Raluka have their vocal differences which pair perfectly well with this song, each bringing their unique style to the track. Lyrically, the song is about falling for someone.

As for the music video, it’s a pure performance piece with both the female singers shining completely as they knock out the choreography like no tomorrow. There are intercut shots with Faydee, who is singing the track and performing the song, but he isn’t dancing and so the girls impress to no end as they continue on, finally finishing in a dance battle with the same choreography – the dance sequences are total fire, enough to make us want to learn them.

“Enchanté” is available to download and stream right now, via Global Records. If you haven’t heard it yet, what are you waiting for? Give it a listen now! It’s currently stuck in our heads.
