Felix Cartal has dropped his emotionally-driven music video for his latest single, “Over It”, featuring vocalist Veronica.
After releasing the song back in July, Felix has finally come back with the song’s official music, and he did not disappoint.
The song’s music video sees a woman reminiscing over the times she’s shared with a past lover. Throughout the clip, we see photos of the couple and video montages of them spending time together. Combined with the song’s catchy midtempo beat and featured vocalist (Veronica), the song is fun to listen to yet emotional all the same.
Felix has fast become one of Canada’s most exciting EDM producers. He was included in Billboard’s “13 Dance Artists Who Dominated 2017” list, and has achieved a platinum selling record in his native country with “Get What You Give”. Felix is known for incorporating emotions and moods throughout the records he produces.
In 2018, the DJ released his third studio album, “Next Season”, a collection of self-relective tracks such as “Mood”, “Walking By”, “Faces” and “Everyone But Me”. The album was also nominated for a Juno Award nomination for Electronic Album of the Year in 2019.
“Over It” is just the first of many new releases to come from this DJ, so make sure you keep a look out for him. We can’t wait to hear what he has in store for us next!
