Fergie is on point this week as she continues to promote the release of her second studio album Double Dutchess. The deluxe album comes with a visual experience video, that contains all these visuals she has been dropping on her YouTube Channel. This video is for the fourth track on the album “Just Like You”.
The song is getting compared to Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” purely because they share that same lyric; although, both songs are completely different. This is the sort of thing we’d be prepared for in a Pitch Perfect Pitch Battle. Fergie has been planning a solo comeback for a while now, and we are ecstatic that her album Double Dutchess is finally here.
Watch Fergie’s Music Video For “Just Like You” Here:
The visual is the third black and white music video from Fergie for her new album, following “Hungry” and “You Already Know“. We watch as she comes face to face a man on the street who looks a lot like Josh Duhamel, her husband who she has parted ways with.
Smoke steams up the visual, as Fergie unleashes her emotions for the song; managing to portray the song’s meaning visually. It’s haunting with a lot of dark themes but totally comes from her heart. The ending sees her continue to walk down the street, the guy has now disappeared along with the smoke.
Let’s be honest, this female singer is completely on point recently, and her visuals for her songs are certainly taking us on an experience. We’re excited to see where she takes us next. Don’t forget to download and stream Double Dutchess which is out now.
