2015 has been a big year for music and an even bigger year for girl group, Fifth Harmony! Fifth Harmony is set to perform and be honored with the Group of the Year award at Billboard’s Women in Music event which will take place on Dec. 11th in New York and will air Dec. 18th on Lifetime.
It’s about time that girl groups get some recognition and the girls of Fifth Harmony are the perfect group to bring it. In the few short years since the girls were formed on The X Factor, they have gotten some pretty big accomplishments. Their debut album, ‘Reflection’, entered the US Billboard 200 at number five with their singles “Bo$$” and “Sledgehammer” achieving Platinum certification. Their single “Worth It”, peaked at number 12 on the Hot 100 and has achieved Double Platinum certification in the States. These ladies also went on to support their highly successful album with The Reflection Tour, The Summer Reflection Tour, and now are currently on their European Reflection Tour. Each tour included many sold out shows.
This has definitely been the year that skyrocketed Fifth Harmony’s year so to be honored as Group Of The Year is highly appropriate. This is only the beginning for this group and us here at Celebmix are excited to hear 5H2 and see what these talented ladies have in store for us for many more years to come.
