Fifth Harmony release ‘Don’t Say You Love Me’ music video

Back in March, Fifth Harmony, made up of Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane, Lauren Jauregui and Normani Kordei, announced that they would be taking a hiatus in order to pursue solo endeavours. The ladies performed their final concert in Florida earlier this month, and for the time being we bid a sad farewell to Fifth Harmony as a group.

However, on Friday (May 18) the ladies gave us a final emotional gift in the form of a music video for the fan favourite track ‘Don’t Say You Love Me’. Officially bringing their current chapter to a close, the video sees Ally, Dinah, Lauren and Normani performing the track in a bright warehouse. The visual has a dreamy vibe to it, with the four ladies looking sensational in evening gowns.

As the video draws to a close, the four form a circle and join hands. In turn, each of them leave the room, closing the door behind them. However, as Ally becomes the final member to make her exit, the camera symbolically pans towards the door, showing that it is still slightly ajar.

Whilst this era of Fifth Harmony has come to an end, with each member now working towards their solo career, the video gives us hope that a reunion could be on the cards in the future.

A band hiatus is always a sad time, however, it does also mean that we now have four individual projects to support and look forward to. All four ladies have already given us a glimpse of what we can expect from them and we’re super excited to see them take over the world in their own right.

Dinah teamed up with RedOne, Daddy Yankee and French Montana last year to release ‘Boom Boom’, and also treated fans to a Christmas medley with Leona Lewis. Ally has also released tracks with Lost Kings and Topic, and will be making her UK solo debut at Fusion Festival this summer.

Lauren has collaborated with the likes of Steve Aoki, Marian Hill and Halsey, and is busy working on her debut solo album. She will be supporting Halsey on the Latin American leg of her Hopeless Fountain Kingdom world tour this summer. Normani was the final member to make her solo debut, releasing ‘Love Lies’ with Khalid earlier this year. She has already enjoyed great success with the song and will be performing it at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday (May 20).
