Fifth Harmony want to keep inspiring young women

Fifth Harmony are very well known for their statements on girl empowerment, equal rights, and feminism. Their fans who are called ‘Harmonizers’ are mainly young women who look up to the girl group because of what they stand for. There has been countless times where the girls have stood up for what they believe in, as well as making sure that everyone knows that they 100% believe in equality.

While Camila Cabello, Lauren Jauregui, Normani Kordei, Ally Brooke Hernandez, and Dinah Jane Hansen were getting ready for their Jingle Bell performance at Madison Square Garden two weeks ago, they also took the time to have an interview with Teen. They talked about numerous of things including the rumors that they were going to break up.

When asked if their fans should be thinking about the girls breaking up right now, Dinah admitted that they have no clue what’s going to happen in the future. She also said that right now they are just trying to focus on their second album that is set to come out next year. ”That’s so far in the future and right now we’re just focusing on our second album,” she said.

Lauren added that they would want to keep going if that means they are inspiring young women. She said: ”It’s just a realistic thing; we’re in a group and all have creative difference, and that’s something that realistically in ten to fifteen years is where we should be. By then, we’d be doing this for a very long time. At the end of the day, though, if we’re successful, we’ll keep going with it. This is what we do. We do it because we want to spread the message of girl empowerment and we want to make awesome music that girls want to turn on and listen to, so if we’re inspiring young women, that’s what we want to keep doing. We’re going to do that as long as people allow us.”
