Summer in the City is the U.K’s answer to Vid-Con and Playlist Live. A 3 day event where the internet’s biggest creators all gather to meet fans, do incredible talks and some awesome musical peformances too. The event is host to talks which help up and coming creators, a merch village and even an indoor funfair.
The guestlist of YouTube royalty has been kept top secret until now. Last night, Summer in the City announced through Twitter the first 8 stars who are attending this year.
Married duo Rose and Rosie, SITC legend Luke Cutford, the lovely Millie T, T.V presenter turned YouTuber Eman Kellam, comedic genius Joe Tasker, singing senstion Bethan Leadley, the cutie pie Jake Evans and the super lovely Alex Bertie will all be attending. Phew.
The line-up is nowhere near complete yet. Last year the likes of Conor and Jack Maynard, Emma Blackery, Dodie Clark, Oli White, Ricky Dillon and The Gabbie Show, Just Jodes, Mikey Pearce, Josh Pieters were present. More guests are to be announced this evening over on Summer in the City’s Twitter. Keep your eyes peeled for further announcements.
The event is expected to have the largest turn out from attendees and guests yet, and even before any confirmation of the line-up, a vast number of early bird tickets have already sold.
Summer in the City takes place on 10th – 12th August at London Excel and early bird tickets are available here. It’s sure to be a festival of fun!
Last year, CelebMix’s very own Shelby attended and got some adorable photos with the stars. We’re hoping for the same this year. (And more cuddles with Jack Maynard).
