Five films we think you need to see this year

2015 has brought with it a whole host of interesting and dynamic films, we’ve had: Avengers: Age of Ultron, Antman, The Kingman’s Secret Service, Mad Max: Fury Road; the list truly could go on but the point of this piece is to tell you all the glorious cinematic wonders that still have yet to come…

5. Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation

Release Date: 30th July

4. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2

Release Date: 19th November

Directed by: Francis Lawrence

Cast: Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Sam Claflin

Synopsis: After the catastrophic events of Mockingjay Part One, Katniss Everdeen has set her sights locked on liberating the citizens of Panem, by any means necessary.

Judging by the trailer, this final Hunger Games instalment is set to have battles by the bucket load!


3. Fantastic Four

Release Date: 6th August

Directed by: Josh Trank

Cast: Miles Teller, Michael B. Jordan, Kate Mara, Jamie Bell, Toby Kebbell, Reg E. Cathey

Synopsis: When four people teleport to an alternate universe,  their physical form alters thus granting them with new abilities, which they must learn to harness and work together as a team to save the Earth from a certain Doctor.

We’re going right back to the start to rework one of Marvel’s classics…

2. Spectre

1. Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens
