We may be coming to the end of 2017, but our favourite artists are still treating us to some incredible content. Over the past week, a number of eye-catching music videos have been released, and we’ve rounded up five of the best for your enjoyment.
Sam Smith – ‘One Last Song’
‘One Last Song’ is taken from Sam’s number one album, The Thrill Of It All. The video is a stunning performance piece which sees Sam on stage in an empty theatre, before singing the song whilst strolling around the venue. Throughout the video, Sam showcases his emotion, tugging at our heartstrings with every movement.
Pitbull and Fifth Harmony – ‘Por Favor’
Pitbull and Fifth Harmony have finally dropped the music video for their sizzling collaboration ‘Por Favor’. The video is split into two, with scenes of Pitbull and a lady friend intertwined with the Fifth Harmony ladies performing the song. As usual, Ally, Dinah, Lauren and Normani look absolutely gorgeous in their glamorous outfits.
5 After Midnight – ‘Flowers’
5 After Midnight, made up of Kieran, Jordan and Nathan, released their EP The Sauce on Friday and also dropped a video for one of the songs, ‘Flowers’. You’ll recognise the song as the classic Sweet Female Attitude track however, the guys have slowed it down and added their own flavour. The result is simply stunning.
ABISHA – ‘All That’
Alt-R&B singer-songwriter ABISHA has released the music video for her debut track ‘All That’. Directed by Jack Bridgland, the video captures the track’s dark undertones. Speaking about the video, she said that it’s “like a huge visual metaphor of the song, that’s why I love it. From the red-lit room to the bath tub and ending being submerged in water; it all symbolises the entrapment that you feel when the love just isn’t right. I hope that this resonates when people watch it and they feel the real vulnerability and honesty within.”
King Lion Miguel – ‘A Girl Like You’
‘A Girl Like You’ is the brand new music video from reggae-fusion artist King Lion Miguel. Directed by Mr Dhoom, the moody visual focuses on the relationship between Miguel and his on-screen partner. Originating from Camaroon, Miguel is currently based in China but will be traveling to America for the first time to perform with Shaggy on December 2 at Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center. He will also be releasing his new LP in February 2018.
