Former guitarist of My Chemical Romance, Frank Iero, was taken to a hospital after a bus crashed into his van in Sydney, Australia.

Now on tour with his new band, Frank Iero and the Patience, several band members were unloading their van when a bus crashed into them.

They were scheduled to perform at Sydney’s Metro Theater, but the show has now been cancelled and all tickets have been refunded.

According to Austalia’s 9 News, Iero “escaped serious injuries but two other men had to be taken to hospital.” It continues, “One of the men was airlifted to St Vincent’s Hospital, the other was taken by road. They are both reported to be serious but stable.”

There were no passengers on the bus, but the driver was taken to the hospital for mandatory tests.

Iero tweeted that him and the members are “pretty banged up but miraculously alive” and that he’s still “in a state of shock.”

Hi friends thanks all for the well wishes. we're pretty banged up but miraculously alive& in stable condition. I'm still in a state of shock

The band’s bassist, Alexander Paul, confirmed that he was not at the venue at the time of the accident but he’s been told that “everyone is in stable condition.”

I'm afraid I don't have many details I was not at the venue when the accident happened, but I have been told everyone is in stable condition
