Budding beauticians and makeup fanatics prepare to be dazzled and inspired, as BBC Three’s Glow Up is BACK!

That’s right a new batch of aspiring creatives are ready to “draw, contour and blend” their way to be crowned Britain’s Next Make-Up Star, in the sixth series of the much loved innovative, and colourful reality show.

    Glow Up
Glow Up: Val Garland, Leomie Anderson, and Dominic Skinner

As before eight of the most talented aspiring make-up artists will be judged on their creativity, and ability to thrive under pressure, in intense Professional Assignments – from pop star led social campaigns, to global gaming body painting, West End theatre looks to mastering gory TV special effects!

Series six will take the ultimate make-up challenge to the next level with professional assignments which will provide the MUAs with incredible opportunities to work with Lady Gaga’s make-up brand Haus Labs, work on the set of the long standing BBC drama Casualty, create looks within the world of Roblox, work with footwear giant Foot Locker, assist on the set of London West End’s Six The Musical and present to industry professionals at Harvey Nichols.

Prepare for a gripping, high-stakes competition that promises to keep you riveted from beginning to end!

When does series six of Glow Up start?

Glow Up series six airs on April 10th on BBC iPlayer, and BBC Three.

Who will host the new series?

British fashion model, television presenter, and activist Leomie Anderson will once again take the reins and be on hand to offer support, and perhaps a shoulder to cry on, to this years contestants.

    Who are the judges?

As always resident judges Val Garland and Dominic Skinner will presided over proceedings. With decades of experience their frank feedback keeps the contributors on their toes, whilst their passion, quick wit, and emotion helps to define the series and add humour.
