Are you a fan of Green Day or the Killers? Love hockey? Well, your day’s going to get a lot better. To kick off the World Cup of Hockey, the bands will be performing in Toronto! Both bands will be performing in the city’s Distillery District, which will be a “fan village” for hockey enthusiasts in town.
The bands will be performing on separate days. The Killers are scheduled to perform first on September 16th at the Pepsi World Cup of Hockey Premiere Party, with tickets at $25. Green Day performs the Friday after (September 23rd) at the World Cup Celebration of Champions, with tickets also at $25.
Despite having influenced other artists and groups for years to come, they’re definitely still around. There are whispers of a new album from The Killers and Green Day’s new album, Revolution Radio will be released within a month!
If you’re planning to attend, get there quick. Both shows are general admission, and there’s no doubt that this is an amazing show you don’t want to miss. Until now, we’ll be jamming out to The Killers or watching Green Day’s new lyric video for Revolution Radio. Over and over again.
