Fresh from wowing crowds at Wembley Stadium this past weekend, as the opening act at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour residency in London, rising pop megastar Griff shares her latest single ‘Anything’.
Dramatic but euphoric, the song explores the bargaining-phase of a formative relationship, its epic synths and locomotive drums driving home the lesson (unbeknownst to the narrator) that you need only ever be enough for yourself.
Co-written by the singer along with Henry Walter (Britney Spears, Rihanna, Charli XCX), the song serves as the latest offering to be released from the Griff’s upcoming debut album ‘vertigo’, which documents the “trial-and-error process of growing up but always hinges on knowing yourself first”.
“Anything’ is about the idea that you would go to any length to make someone care for you, but they don’t realise the power they hold,” the Hertfordshire native says of the anthemic track. “At a young age I think there’s often a bit of imbalance, and I wanted the song to capture the intensity of those young relationships.”

Scheduled to drop via Warner Music later this summer, Griff’s coming-of-age debut album ‘vertigo’ will see the 2021 BRITS Rising Star scale creative new heights, as she take listeners on a journey of self-discovery, tackling some of the issues faced by millions of young people around the world, across a spirited collection 14-euphoric tracks.
Named after the projects lead single, the LP will also include previous release ‘Astronaut’, as well as the anthemic new single ‘Miss Me Too’ – an “existential banger”about the little-discussed irony of losing confidence as you supposedly grow older and wiser.
‘vertigo’ is available for pre-order here.
