BRIT Award winner Griff drops her first new solo material of the year, in the form of her latest single “Vertigo” – an uplifting, cinematic pop masterpiece that captures both the anxieties, and disorientation of being in your early twenties.
Self-produced by the singer, and co-written with Sam Tsang (Ed Sheehan, Maisie Peters), the track received its first play last week as Radio 1’s Hottest Record in The World.
“‘Vertigo’ refers to an emotional state – always feeling upside down.” Griff says of the songs deeply personal message and meaning. “Experiencing love and growing up, it always feels like the world and my emotions are spinning faster than I can keep up with. ‘Vertigo’ is the beginning of a new creative chapter for me, and I’m excited for us all to go on this journey together.”

Signalling something of new beginning for the Hertfordshire born recording artist, following the release of her mixtape “One Foot In Front Of The Other”, and 2022’s Sigrid collaboration “Head On Fire”, “Vertigo” symbolises the sound of Griff with the ground beneath her feet again, and the future firmly in her grasp.
Having spent the last two years touring the world, opening up for the likes of Dua Lipa, Coldplay, and Florence + The Machine, the singer has built an impressive following of loyal fans who find solace in her all-encompassing approach to songwriting, and confidence in her no-nonsense approach to life!
With the promise of more new music to come, we cannot wait to see what Griff does next…
