April 25th 2024: British pop tour de force Griff has today announced details of long-awaited debut album ‘vertigo’.
Introducing the record, Griff comments via press release: “the album is about vertigo as an emotion and the dizziness and upside down feeling of heartache. I wanted to drop this project in parts from insular low feelings (Vol.1) to desperate euphoria (Vol.2) and with volume three, the full story.”
Set to drop Friday, July 19th via Warner Music, the coming-of-age record will see the 2021 BRITS Rising Star scale creative new heights, as she take listeners on a journey of self-discovery, tackling some of the issues faced by millions of young people around the world, across a spirited collection 14-euphoric tracks.
Named after the projects lead single, the LP will also include previous release ‘Astronaut’, as well as the anthemic new single ‘Miss Me Too’ – an “existential banger” about the little-discussed irony of losing confidence as you supposedly grow older and wiser.
As an artist who likes to merge the worlds of music and fashion, the full track-list was teased by Griff in a huge, spray-painted dress from CSM designer Eden Tan.
