Halsey (Ashley Frangipane) donated $500 to a homeless transgendered man.
Someone who goes by the name of Lau on Twitter, tweeted the link to a gofundme page explaining the situation.

The story is about a man who was kicked out of his house for being transgender and has been living on the streets for 8 months time. Carter, who also goes by Ash, was cut off from food at the local BNB he’s staying at – he also struggles with a disability and has a hard time finding a job where he can make a somewhat sustainable amount of money.
Halsey saw the tweet that is linked above, and retweeted it to her 1.72 million Twitter followers without hesitation. She was actually the first person to donate to Carter’s funds while simultaneously leaving a short but heartfelt message.
“Stay strong. The battle helps you win the war.”
Carter responded to the singer on Twitter expressing his thanks for the generous donation.

A few others have continued to donate alongside Halsey, as well as tweeted out their full support to Carter.
