Getting tired of boybands and mainstream music? Listening to a whole lot of Halsey and a cup of coffee would do the trick.
American singer/songwriter Ashley Frangipane (a.k.a Halsey) is soon to be releasing her debut album ‘Badlands’ which will be containing a whole lot of alternative pop music.
If you haven’t known, Halsey’s debut EP ‘Room 93’ in which her hit tracks “Ghost” and “Hurricane” were included, was released October last year and peaked at #159 in the Billboard 200 chart. Having that unique aura about her music, people are definitely on their toes, wanting more of Halsey’s music.
Now, her debut album will be launched on August 28, 2015 under Astralwerks Records, and will include the tracks “Hold Me Down” and “New Americana,” which were both released weeks prior to the album’s launch and entered the top charts in music streaming services.
With the success of her first EP and song rankings, Halsey was just recently included in Spotify’s “Top 25 Most Influencial Artists Under 25” of 2015. Pretty cool for a new artist on the rise aye?
