Hannah Jane Lewis has released her new single Lemonade.
The track has been added straight into Spotify’s prestigious New Music Friday playlist (768k followers) this morning, above Meghan Trainor & Nicki Minaj.
Led by Hannah’s sugar-sweet yet soaring vocals, the electro/pop track is an honest insight into the exciting yet daunting phase of a brand new relationship. Lemonade was co-written by Joel Gunnarsson and Gil Lewis.
The Surrey-born rising star doesn’t remember a time where she didn’t want to be a singer. Hannah grew up taking singing and dancing lessons alongside learning how to play the piano.
At 14, she moved to Florida with her family where she resided for 8 years before moving to New York City. After studying at the prestigious NYU Tisch School Of The Arts (alumni include Lady Gaga, Timothée Chalamet, Anne Hathaway), Hannah returned to the UK to work on her own music.
She previously supported the likes of Rita Ora, Jess Glynne and Shawn Mendes to name a few. She dreams of headlining iconic venues such as Madison Square Garden in NYC and London’s O2 Arena someday.
This year it’s all about the music. She plans to follow up Lemonade with loads more music and lots of live shows.
