Continuing with her quest to “wrap the world up in a big ball of pink glittery colourful energy”, Hannah Jane Lewis has released the sparkly music video for ‘Raincheck’.
Combining retro pastel-coloured visuals with more glitter than you can shake a stick at, the video for ‘Raincheck’ is eye-catching to say the least. During the verses, Hannah is covered head to toe in sparkles, whilst the chorus showcases her sassy side as shots of her are intertwined with old school Solitaire inspired images. The video is pure bubblegum pop, and we love the fun 90’s vibe to it.
Speaking about the video, Hannah said “This song is about keeping your cards close to your chest and not giving too much of yourself away, so in the video I wanted to find a fun way to play with that – which is where the glitter came in. When I had the option to cover myself in it I jumped at the chance, because covering myself in glitter is basically me living the dream. This video is an introduction to my world and what things look like inside my head!”

Since its release last month, ‘Raincheck’ has been streamed over 320,000 times on Spotify. The track was recently given extra sparkle thanks to a remix from Fickle Friends’ Jack.
