Not many people can say that, at age 23, they released their first solo album, embarked on a sold-out world tour, had a starring role in a Christopher Nolan film, and touched the hearts of fans all around the world. One person who can say that, however, is Harry Styles.
Not that he would say all that, especially at once. Harry is humble, even with the world at his feet, which says a lot about his character. So it comes as no surprise that his fans are celebrating him today as he turns 24.
When Harry debuted his solo career with Sign of the Times, fans knew he was on to something. His sound wasn’t taking the path that was expected of him, at least, not if you were a casual fan. Harry’s style, both in fashion and music, has always been eclectic. He draws inspiration from many places, people, and experiences – and that’s evident in everything he does.
So with that single, that solo album, that film debut, and that world tour we talked about – we can imagine that Harry’s reflecting on his 23rd year as an incredible one. Not only did he have success in his professional career, he was able to spend another year embracing who he is. Once, someone scared of what people would think of him, Harry is now a person who embraces every wonderful aspect of who he is – and encourages others to do the same.
Always a beacon of hope, his kindness surpasses that of most. From his friends and loved ones to fans across the world, he reminds us to be kind and give love as often as possible. It’s always possible. Harry doesn’t just talk the talk when it comes to being nice, he walks the walk.
Being a fan of Harry is something we feel privileged to be, and more importantly, something that inspires us. It’s hard to see him and not want to be a better version of yourself and to want what’s best for others, too.
