On January 18th 2016, Glenn Frey, the lead singer and frontman of Eagles, sadly passed away. In honour of this, earlier today, HomeTown released a new cover of one of Eagles’ classic hits, ‘Take It To The Limit’.
If we had to describe the whole cover in one word, we’d pick the word beautiful as that’s exactly what it is – beautiful. The harmonies throughout the whole cover mix perfectly and are all tightened together so you can’t hear individual voices, just the overall magical sound.
Although the cover is sang slightly differently to the original, HomeTown have still produced something truly awe-inspiring. Fans of Eagles may just like what the boyband has created – a more acoustic, slow version of the song made in memory of the legend that is Glenn Frey.
