HomeTown smash their Middle East gigs!

HomeTown played two gigs today in the Middle East; one in Abu Dhabi and the second in Dubai.

The Irish boyband, managed by Louis Walsh, were invited to play at McGettigan’s in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, which are two of many other Irish pubs situated all across the world.

McGettigan’s were hosting an event to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day where the band performed today. HomeTown sang a few songs, including Mr. Brightside by The Killers and one of their own songs, Where I Belong.

The band have been looking forward to their appearance and having been posting on social media displaying their excitement.

We spoke to Atiqah Mohd Azhar, a fan who saw HomeTown perform today.

“The gig was very entertaining as the band performed through their hour long set, looking as radiant ever,” Atiqah said. “The crowd sang and danced with them, especially during ‘Shut Up and Dance’. It was full of energy and my favourite part was when they sang Mr. Brightside.”

The new cover of Mr. Brightside went down a treat with fans, with the small clips making them go into a frenzy.

HomeTown posted this on Twitter shortly after their gig at McGettigan’s JLT Dubai.

The band are about to join The Vamps on their UK & Ireland arena tour which kicks off next week in Birmingham, England.
