HRVY links up with Jonas Blue on ‘Younger’

A huge feature from the fresh-faced pop star, a HRVY and Jonas Blue collaboration has been a long time coming.

First linking up at Capital’s Summertime Ball 2018 when HRVY fronted the vocals of Jonas Blue smash ‘Mama’, the track became a permanent and slick feature in the pop star’s live show set. And at this year’s Summertime Ball, Blue called on HRVY once again as the duo wowed Wembley with ‘Mama’, ‘Polaroid’ and ‘Rise’.

Today, the pair release the tropically tinged ‘Younger’. The DJ’s trademark plucky electronica meets HRVY’s penchant for a big chorus as the 20-year-old begs, “let’s still be 17 like yesterday, let’s stay younger together”. All the hallmarks of a radio-ready hit, debuting on Capital minutes after release, Jonas Blue is no stranger to the charts. Four Top 5 singles to his name including ‘Perfect Strangers’ and ‘Rise’, the producer’s discography also boasts countless platinum certifications. For HRVY, who has enjoyed chart success with singles such as ‘Personal’ and ‘Hasta Luego’ and gone viral with every new release, ‘Younger’ looks likely to be his biggest charting success to date.

The first of a new era as HRVY has teased, the ‘Personal’ singer has undertaken writing camps with the likes of Maria Hazell (Mabel, Lewis Blissett, ALMA), Earwulf (Jason Derulo, Bazzi, Astrid S) Daniel Shah (Will Young, Sigala, David Guetta) Tre Jean-Marie (Mabel, The Vamps, Little Mix), Calle Lehmann (Why Don’t We, Galantis, Liam Payne), Jonas Jeberg (Jonas Brothers, Panic! at the Disco, Demi Lovato) and manager Blair Dreelan (Bars and Melody, Roadtrio, Union J) – pointing to some pretty powerful pop coming fans’ way.

2019 has already seen the singer release singles ‘Told You So‘ and ‘I Miss Myself‘ with NOTD, along with NCT DREAM collaboration ‘Don’t Need Your Love‘ which has hit 13 million streams on Spotify alone already. Along with a calm 90,000 person Wembley performance at Summertime Ball, HRVY has also taken to stages at Radio 1’s Biggest Weekend and festivals in Barcelona, Madrid, Poland and South Korea this summer.

Still tight-lipped about the upcoming months, fans will be sure that a new HRVY project is in the works.
