Premiered as Hottest Record on Clara Amfo’s Future Sounds show on BBC Radio 1, D&B titans Hybrid Minds tease forthcoming Tides: Part 1 EP with indie legend Birdy on ethereal fuelled single “State Lines”.
Influenced by the full, euphoric sound of Bon Iver and Ben Howard, Hybrid Minds weave their passion for alternative music into atmospheric electronic records. Their new single “State Lines” is an ethereal anthem filled with pure emotions highlighted by Birdy’s voice.
Matt Lowe of Hybrid Minds describes the creative process of working with the singer, “We’ve been huge fans of Birdy since we can remember and to finally be able to get into the studio with her was nothing short of amazing, we gel really well creatively and we are hyped people can finally hear the results!”
Inspired by a fierce love for nature imagery seen in previous albums Elements and Mountains, Hybrid Minds now anticipate their upcoming EP Tides: Part 1.
