Hello! My name is Sarah. I’m a university student in the United States studying journalism and women’s studies. After college, I hope to move somewhere (preferably New York City or London if I’m being really optimistic) and start a career in journalism.
At the moment, I’m not doing much except school and writing for a variety of platforms. As for things I like to do, I enjoy dramatically lip-syncing my favourite songs. Fun fact I’m currently doing my rendition of “Ease My Mind” as I write this. I’m obsessed with Netflix. I just started watching 3%, which is a superb show. I love to watch YouTube as well. Potatoes are glorious in all their forms, although Chick-fil-a fries take the cake.
Why do I write?
This is a very difficult question for me to answer. I write because I love it. I write because it’s the one of the only creative outlets I’m not terrible at. Most of my friends can confirm that my art skills are sub-par. I write because I’m good at it. I write because I have too many ideas in my head at all times, and have to put them down on paper. In elementary school, we would always have designated writing time, but I would never finish a story in the allotted amount of time. But, the next day I would have another idea, and I’d have to quickly finish the old story before starting a new one. Finally, I write to express my opinions, thoughts, and ideas, and put them out into the world.
How did I become a writer at CelebMix?
This is another difficult question for me to answer. I don’t remember exactly when I decided to apply. One day I thought it would be fun to write regularly for a bigger platform, and CelebMix seemed like the perfect place to go. And here I am!

What is my favourite movie? It’s very hard to choose a favourite, but I love Tangled and Crazy Stupid Love.
What is my favourite television show? Parks and Recreation.
Who is my favourite YouTuber? This list could go on for days, but my absolute favourites are Dan and Phil, Nathan Zed, Connor Manning, Meghan Hughes, Rose and Rosie, and Hannah Witton.
