    Introducing: New Band Next Stop Mars

    What do Union J and Busted have in common? Apart from both having top 10 hits and both bands are keeping us waiting for their 3rd albums. Pop-rock band Next Stop Mars.

    It seems JJ and ex Union J member George as well as James from Busted are really good pals with the up and coming band.  All three regularly post images with the four piece from days at the races to casual lunches.

    Getting to know Next Stop Mars.

    Introducing: Next Stop Mars. 3The pop-rock band are London based. Celeb mix exclusively get the low down on each member.

     

    • Shanel Jemel aged 21 the vocalist and keyboard player of the band, she’s been inspired by Michael Jackson, J-Lo, Blink 182, Linkin Park and 5sos. The pretty singer has toured with The Saturdays and Cher Lloyd.  Shanel also loves to dance and has been singing since she was only 14.

     

     

    Denis Jemel, aged 22 is the bass player and is also on vocals. He’s inspired by a lot ofDenis

    people, however musically he is mainly inspired by Busted (It’s always sweet to be inspired by a friend) Michael Jackson, Blink 182 and so many more. He also has toured with Cher Lloyd and The Saturdays. With sister Shanel they formed the duo SD-JEM. The bass player also cites himself as an adrenaline junkie.

     

    • Introducing: Next Stop Mars. 5 Dan Kerridge, aged 22, is the guitarist of the band. He idolises Slash and musically is influenced by Guns and Roses. Dan’s a self confessed Pokemon obsessor and taught himself to play guitar aged 11.

     

    • John Wilson, aged 20, is the drummer of the group. He lists Tony Royster Jr, Aaron Introducing: Next Stop Mars. 6Spears and George Daniel as some of his inspirations  The person who inspires him the most is his dad. Apart from being a talented drummer, he has also mastered solving a Rubicks cube. He is currently teaching Shanel to do the same.

     

    Next Stop Mars recently uploaded a cover of Stacey’s Mom which showcases just how talented the band are. Denis’s vocal’s are certainly a reason  alone to check this cover out!
