Woke Up Waiting is a new 4 piece band from Canada. WUW started after front man for the band After Our Juliet left. Fans were sad to see Lucas go, but they were excited to find out he had joined WUW as the drummer. Dylan also left AOJ and joined Woke Up Waiting as the bassist. Update as of March 17, 2016, Dylan has left the band. They will continue on as a three-piece.
The band started posting covers on YouTube. They first covered Cinderblock Garden by All Time Low. As the band got bigger, they made 2 vlogs and started covering popular songs. Their most popular cover is Jet Black Heart by 5 Seconds of Summer.
On March 3, 2016 the band uploaded their cover of Pillowtalk by Zayn. People loved the new cover.
