Wiping his Instagram clean amidst promises of a “new chapter”, today Jacob Sartorius debuts ‘Party Goes Harder’.
“Put on a smile and show me how to become the best me”, the 17-year-old sings on the latest single. The track, which Sartorius teased on TikTok earlier this week, marks the singer’s first release since 2018’s mini-album Better With You.
Taking to Twitter ahead of release, the ‘Sweatshirt’ singer wrote: “nervous, excited, scared and most of all thankful that people have stuck with me this long.” More stripped-back than previous releases, ‘Party Goes Harder’ is a plucky sing-a-long that already has fans raving online.
Sartorius, who rose to fame on platforms Vine and Musical.ly from 2015, has pulled in millions of streams on earlier releases ‘Hit or Miss‘, ‘Last Text’ and ‘Sweatshirt’. Still active across social media and YouTube, ‘Party Goes Harder’ kicks off a new era of music releases from the American teen who had gone 12 months without new releases.
Recent weeks has seen fans given a behind-the-scenes look into Jacob Sartorius’ life with a new ‘Life of Sartorius’ series on YouTube. With over 3 million subscribers on the platform, the singer’s videos range from vlogs to face-to-face chats with the camera to joking around in Santa Monica.
