As well as helping to provide support for the NHS, Jake Quickenden is making people smile with his new single. ‘Quarantine Song’ is a quarantune!
‘Quarantine Song’ was inspired by the current COVID-19 pandemic and Jake will be donating all proceeds from the track to help the NHS in their fight against the virus. As he mentions in the lyrics, we’d be lost without the workers and all the help they bring.
Speaking about the importance of the NHS, Jake Quickenden said: “The NHS is something we have all used, I’ve spent many years in and out of hospital either with me hurting myself, or with my dad and brother when they were having treatment! The NHS are unbelievable and we must help and protect them, keep downloading ‘Quarantine Song’. It’s 79p and all proceeds I will be donating to the NHS. I can’t wait to see what we have raised in a few weeks.”
‘Quarantine Song’ is available here on all digital platforms. The single charted at number 9 in The Official Big Top 40 this week and it recently reached number two on the iTunes singles chart.
To accompany the track, Jake has released an official video which is keeping people entertained while they’re on lockdown and providing them with some much-needed laughter in tough times.
Whether it’s fundraising for charities or raising awareness for important issues such as mental health, Jake Quickenden continues to be a great role model by using his platform to help other people. Make sure you keep up with him via Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.
